Reptiles rely on heat from an external source to ensure they keep at their optimal body temperature, the Exo Terra Electronic On/Off Thermostat will provide you with a controlled heated environment that will allow you to maintain the correct temperature, similar to what you would find in the desert. It features an electronic switch where the temperature can be set at the desired number. It also has a red LED light that will indicate when the heating device is on.
